Firearms Training

Frontline Prepared runs beginner-friendly pistol training across Albuquerque and the surrounding metro — small classes, no intimidation, and no assumption of prior experience. Taught by a veteran, NM DPS-certified and USCCA-certified instructor.

Start with Pistol 1 to build the fundamentals, move into Pistol 2 to sharpen consistency and defensive skills, or take the two-day Pistol Track to complete both in one weekend. Looking for a women-only class instead? See our Women's Firearms Classes. Ready to carry concealed? See our NM CCW classes.

No. Pistol 1 is built for first-time shooters and covers safe handling, how handguns work, and the fundamentals before you fire a single round.

Which course should I start with?

Start with Pistol 1 if you've never held a handgun. Already comfortable with the basics? Pistol 2 builds consistency with malfunction clearance, reloads, and draw stroke from the holster.

How many rounds do I need to bring?

Pistol 2 is a high-volume range session — bring 500 rounds. The two-day Pistol Track requires a minimum of 650 rounds across both days.

Can this lead to a concealed carry license?

Yes. Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 are a natural stepping stone into our NM CCW Initial course if you decide to carry concealed.
